Our 4×4 Tanzania safari vehicles are Convertible, comfortable, and luxurious.
They have pop-up roofs. The vehicles are serviced and maintained to a high standard before, during, and after every Safari.
On all our safaris, we use specially designed and converted Toyota Landcruisers. We have put a lot of thought into adapting them to the rugged African bush, rough conditions, and bumpy roads, providing maximum comfort while ensuring the best safari experience for our guests.
Our safari vehicles have large sliding windows and pop-up roofs, offering excellent views and giving our guests fantastic opportunities for safe and undisturbed photography while on game drives.
Comfortable Safari Vehicles
It is a 6-seat Safari Land Cruiser for a Family or small group safari and four seats for one lovely couple on Safari. We also offer an extended base for Couples. This type of design is a standard custom vehicle in Tanzania, but we characterized it with new-edge designs to provide a luxurious experience.
Photographic Safari Vehicles
This Kind of Vehicle is mostly used by Wildlife Photo Safaris for its uniqueness and flexibility. It has enough characteristics useful for photographers to take great pictures from every angle. It’s possible to request our Photo Safari Vehicle for your Family, Couple, or Group Safari at no extra cost.
Our Photographic Safari vehicle can accommodate three photographers (and their equipment). The driver’s side seat is not available, though, so photographers would just be joining for the ride and experience.

- Only the front and back bars hold up the roofless obstruction of view for photography.

The passenger compartment has six individual and comfortable seats, guaranteeing a window seat for each guest. In addition, a seventh seat is available next to the guide. All our vehicles have a safari fridge powered by the car battery to keep your drinks cold and refreshing.
220 Volt electric sockets for battery chargers ensure you won’t miss capturing any special moments you will experience on your Safari.
The powerful engines allow the vehicles to manage various terrains easily, even when traveling on roads off the beaten track. Regular services on the motors are essential to ensure continued reliability. Your safety is our priority.
All our guides only drive their “dedicated” safari vehicle. This results in optimized maintenance, handling, and caretaking of our fleet on the one hand and safe and secure driving due to being familiar with the specific Landcruiser on the other hand.
As limited space is available in the luggage compartment, we ask all our guests to restrict their luggage to 15 kg. The luggage that won’t be needed on Safarii can be stored in our office or at the hotel.
Please note that due to unforeseen circumstances or during the peak of high season, Great Image Expedition reserves the right to use similar rental vehicles, which may not have the exact same equipment as those in our specialized vehicles.
