Our 4×4 Tanzania safari vehicles are Convertible, comfortable, and luxurious.
They have pop-up roofs. The vehicles are serviced and maintained to a high standard before, during, and after every Safari.
On all our safaris, we use specially designed and converted Toyota Landcruisers. We have put a lot of thought into adapting them to the rugged African bush, rough conditions, and bumpy roads, providing maximum comfort while ensuring the best safari experience for our guests.
Our safari vehicles have large sliding windows and pop-up roofs, offering excellent views and giving our guests fantastic opportunities for safe and undisturbed photography while on game drives.
Comfortable Safari Vehicles
It is a 6-seat Safari Land Cruiser for a Family or small group safari and four seats for one lovely couple on Safari. We also offer an extended base for Couples. This type of design is a standard custom vehicle in Tanzania, but we characterized it with new-edge designs to provide a luxurious experience.
Photographic Safari Vehicles
This Kind of Vehicle is mostly used by Wildlife Photo Safaris for its uniqueness and flexibility. It has enough characteristics useful for photographers to take great pictures from every angle. It’s possible to request our Photo Safari Vehicle for your Family, Couple, or Group Safari at no extra cost.
Our Photographic Safari vehicle can accommodate three photographers (and their equipment). The driver’s side seat is not available, though, so photographers would just be joining for the ride and experience.

- Three 360º swivel seats, one per “row” – seats also lean right back if required.
- Only the front and back bars hold up the roofless obstruction of view for photography.

Our safari vehicles are equipped with six individual and comfortable seats, ensuring each guest enjoys a window seat. Additionally, there is a seventh seat available next to the guide. To keep your drinks cold and refreshing, each vehicle features a safari fridge powered by the car battery.
Essential Amenities for Your Safari
Our vehicles are equipped with 220-volt electric sockets for battery chargers, so you can capture all your special moments without missing a beat. The powerful engines of our vehicles allow them to handle various terrains with ease, including off-the-beaten-track roads. Regular maintenance ensures reliability and safety, making your journey as smooth as possible.
Dedicated Guides and Vehicle Maintenance
Each guide is assigned a “dedicated” safari vehicle, which optimizes maintenance and handling. This ensures both the vehicle’s performance and the guide’s familiarity with the specific Landcruiser, resulting in safe and secure driving.
Luggage Guidelines
Given the limited space in the luggage compartment, we ask guests to restrict their luggage to 15 kg. Any luggage not needed for the safari can be stored at our office or your hotel.

Please be aware that due to unforeseen circumstances or during peak seasons, Great Image Expedition reserves the right to use similar rental vehicles. These may not have the exact same equipment as our specialized vehicles.
