The trip starts in Tanzania, where you are collected from the Kilimanjaro International Airport and transferred to the 5-star Luxury Hotel in Arusha. This growing city lies near the foot of Mount Meru, serving as the travel hub for safaris to Tanzania’s famous Northern Safari Circuit.

After breakfast, we continue by road from our Lodge to the Serengeti National Park via Olduvai Gorge. We stopped to visit the Olduvai Museum and Gorge, where fossils of our earliest human ancestors and their tools have been unearthed. There is also the option of visiting a Maasai village to encounter Tanzania’s best-known ethnic group – the semi-nomadic Maasai. Then, we enjoy an en-route game drive to our luxury-tented camp into the world-renowned Serengeti National Park.

Spend time at wildlife games and view the beautiful Serengeti. The largest national park in Tanzania, Serengeti, covers about 14 760 km² of open plains and wilderness. This unique wildlife reserve hosts an awe-inspiring abundance of large mammals, including masses of herbivores such as wildebeest, zebra, gazelle, topi, buffalo, and hartebeest. The Serengeti Park is famous for predator populations and giant cats – lions, cheetahs, and leopards.

Enjoy an early breakfast and a half-day of wildlife game viewing in the Serengeti. Then, we depart for Ngorongoro Conservation Area, with a game drive en route.

After breakfast, we descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a six-hour game drive in this exceptionally wildlife-rich game park. Ngorongoro, the world's largest unflooded caldera, hosts one of Africa's highest concentrations of wildlife. Almost every large mammal species of Africa is commonly sighted on game drives in this crater, from black rhinos to spotted hyenas. In the afternoon, we visit one of the local Maasai villages. We then proceed to Arusha and take a 1-hour flight to Zanzibar; you will be met by our guide and transferred to the beach resort on the northeastern coast of Zanzibar.

The next few days are spent relaxing on the white sand beaches, swimming in the warm Indian Ocean, and enjoying your luxury Zanzibar beach resort at leisure. The islands of the Zanzibar Archipelago are famous for their idyllic tropical beaches and are known as the Spice Islands for the exotic spices grown here. Visit the spice plantations to smell and taste the brightly colored and aromatic herbs, such as turmeric, ginger, black pepper, nutmeg, and cinnamon. You can take a boat ride to one of the smaller islands to relax and explore or go scuba diving. Snorkeling and scuba diving are popular due to the rich marine life in these clear waters. 

After breakfast on day 10, you can relax at the resort until you need to transfer to the airport. Once you have checked out at 11:359 AM, you can store your luggage and enjoy the resort facilities.

When it is time for your airport transfer, our driver will collect you at reception and drive you to the Zanzibar International Airport, where this Tanzania Tour and Zanzibar Beach Trip will end.
