Kibale National Park

Kibale National Park in western Uganda is known as the “Primate Capital of the World,” famous for its dense tropical rainforest, incredible biodiversity, and being a premier spot for chimpanzee trekking, hosting about 1,500 chimps and 12 other primate species like red colobus monkeys. Visitors engage in guided forest walks and treks for close encounters with habituated chimps, enjoying a unique glimpse into their lives alongside rich birdlife (over 350 species) and unique landscapes like crater lakes.
