Experience a tranquil and picturesque Arusha National Park Canoeing along the shorelines of the small Momella Lake.
Momella Lake is a collection of multiple lakes located in the Arusha National Park. It is fed by various underground water streams and rainfall during its season, which attracts the complete life cycle of many animals, such as buffaloes, bushbucks, giraffes, hippos, and many water birds living in and close to the water. It is quiet and beautiful, and a great way to experience this is from a canoe.
During this 2—to 2.5-hour adventure, you can observe buffaloes, bushbucks, giraffes, hippos, and various water birds in their natural habitats.
Meeting Point: Small Lake Momella, located within Arusha National Park. Equipment: Stable two-person fiberglass canoes.
Please note that visitors must pay a Conservation Park Fee for entry into the park and a canoeing park fee at the North Park Gate. Enjoy Arusha National Park Canoeing
