Intimate Camp varies in size, from one accommodation tent for two people to 15 for a maximum of 30 people. Each sleeping tent measures six by 3 ½ metres (20 by 11 ½ feet) and comprises a verandah, bedroom area, dressing area, and separate ensuite shower and toilet. As an added convenience, each tent has sufficient power for lighting and charging mobile telephones, cameras, and laptop computers. This electricity harvested from the sun’s rays via a solar system.

Depending on the group size to be accommodated, several day tents of different dimensions are used. These day tents are designed to provide comfortable dining and recreation for guests who are not exploring the area and viewing the wildlife and birdlife. Evenings are spent around the all-important campfire.

However, these can range from game drives to view the great wildebeest migration as well as other wildlife and birdlife; game walks, nature walks, and walks with ancient African tribes such as the Maasai and the Hadzabe people; off-road game driving as well as night game drives; hiking on the slopes of Mounts Kilimanjaro, Meru or Ol Doinyo Lengai; and early morning game viewing from the skies in a hot air balloon.
