3-Day Famous Mara Safari – Mid-Range

You will be collected from Nairobi early in the morning and driven to Masai Mara National Reserve, a pristine part of the greater Serengeti ecosystem. The Mara is one of the few places on earth where wildlife roams freely in large numbers. On arrival, enjoy lunch at your camp before heading out for an afternoon game drive. During your first encounter with the Mara, expect to see a variety of animals including lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, cheetahs, and wildebeests. As the day ends, return to your tented camp for dinner and an overnight stay. Accommodation can be upgraded or downgraded according to your preference.

After breakfast, embark on a full-day game drive with a packed lunch in the heart of the reserve. Today is your chance to see the Big Five and observe the behavior of the Mara’s resident wildlife. Cheetahs are often seen resting under vehicles or even climbing atop for a better view of their surroundings. Bird lovers will delight in the reserve’s nearly 500 recorded species, including eagles, hawks, vultures, storks, bustards, and sunbirds. Spend the day exploring the Mara’s rolling plains and riverine forests, returning to your camp in the late afternoon for dinner and overnight stay.

Wake up early for a sunrise game drive at 6:00 am, witnessing the Mara bathed in golden light as animals begin their day. Return to the camp around 9:00 am for brunch, then depart for Nairobi. Enjoy lunch en route and arrive in Nairobi in the late afternoon, marking the end of your incredible Mara adventure.
