Kibale National Park, located in western Uganda, is known as the “Primate Capital of the World.” It protects one of Africa’s most diverse and dense tropical rainforests, hosting over 13 primate species, including the largest population of chimpanzees in Uganda.
The park covers 795 km², combining evergreen rainforest, swamp, and woodland. It is also a hotspot for birdwatchers, nature lovers, and adventure travelers, famous for its rich biodiversity, cool climate, and scenic beauty.
