Murchison Falls National Park, Uganda’s largest and oldest safari park, is famous for its powerful waterfall where the Nile River is forced through a 7-meter gap, creating a dramatic roar and stunning scenery. The park features vast savannah, riverine forest, woodland, and the famous Nile Delta, making it one of the best destinations for wildlife viewing in East Africa.

Home to elephants, lions, giraffes, hippos, crocodiles, buffaloes, Uganda kob, and over 450 bird species, Murchison offers a classic big-game safari combined with the iconic beauty of the River Nile.

Day 1:Travel & Arrival

Transfer from Kampala to Murchison Falls National Park via the Luwero Triangle. Optional stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for rhino tracking on the way. Arrive and check in at the lodge.

Day 2: Game Drive & Water Safari

Early Morning Game Drive in the Northern Sector of the park (best area for wildlife viewing). Afternoon Boat Cruise on the Victoria Nile to the Bottom of the Falls, where you can view hippos, crocodiles, and large herds of elephants and buffaloes drinking on the riverbanks.

Day 3 : Waterfall Visit & Departure

Morning visit to the Top of the Falls, where the Nile River forces its way through a 7-meter gap. Depart from the park for Kampala.
