Arukore Simba Camp features 12 luxurious permanent tented camps offering singles, twins, and doubles. Each en-suite tent boasts an outdoor shower and magnificent views of the savannah. Decorated with local fabrics and hardwood furniture, our rooms provide a cozy, elegant retreat with mosquito nets and full amenities. Powered by solar energy and equipped with solar-heats water, our Lodge prioritizes sustainability and eco-friendliness. Family rooms are unavailable now, and children under 13 are not accommodated. We welcome bookings for adults and children aged 13 to 18.

Explore the Endless Savannah

Introducing Arukore Simba Camp, Serengeti: Our newest addition to the Simba Portfolio nestled within the heart of Serengeti National Park; Arukore Simba Camp offers a luxurious safari experience amidst the pristine wilderness, just 25 km from Seronera Airstrip. Named after the nearby Arukore River, our camp embraces the rich heritage of the Ikoma tribe, whose ancestors once hunted along its banks.

Each room has a torch (flashlight) and umbrella for your stay with us.

There’s a secure sThere’s your valuables. A whistle is also provided if you need to alert the security guards.

As the solar lighting may be dimmer than you’re used to, we recommend you bring a headlamp or book light to read in bed at night.

Due to our solar electrical system, using a hair dryer at Arukore Simba Camp is impossible. We kindly request that you don’t attempt to donate a hair dryer as it will likely cause systems to lose power to the entire lodge.

We can only accommodate CPAP (sleep apnea machines) that run on battery power, as we don’t have 24-hour humidity. It would be best if you were thoroughly versed in how the machine works and could assist the lodge staff in charging the battery. Please advise when booking if you use this device.

Our restaurant offers an exquisite selection of continental cuisine prepared with the finest local ingredients. Then we strongly emphasize healthy dining, featuring abundant fresh fruits and vegetables.

We organize delightful outdoor barbecues for special occasions. We can also accommodate your needs if you prefer a picnic breakfast.

The lodge’s common area includes a reception, lounge, bar, pool, dining room, viewing deck, pool with sun deck, and campfire area. The inside common areas have free wireless Internet. Upon arrival, you’ll welcome with a refreshing towel and a cool glass of juice.
