Migration Experience

Vast herds of wildebeest pass just outside your tent, following a migratory path worn over millennia. The iconic Great Migration involves herds traveling a continuous circuit from the southern Serengeti to the Mara River and back. Nyasi Tented Camp is ideally situated to move with the migration, ensuring you never miss any action.

Seasonal Mobility

Nyasi operates as a seasonal camp within the Serengeti, relocating between two key locations. The camp moves from the savannah of the Lamai in the northern Serengeti to the short grass plains of the southern Serengeti, aligning with the migration patterns throughout the year.

Tent Options and Decor

Tented Rooms (8 Rooms)
Nyasi Tented Camp features eight ensuite tented rooms with interiors inspired by Tanzania’s vibrant cultures and natural surroundings. Each tent can be configured as twin or king beds and accommodates an extra stretcher bed. Ensuite bathrooms include a double vanity, flushing toilet, and fully plumbed indoor shower. Note: From 1 June 2025, the camp will have six ensuite tented rooms.

Family Tent (1 Room)
One spacious family tent includes two ensuite rooms and a shared lounge. Each bedroom has an indoor shower and a double vanity. Between 1 June and 31 October 2025, Nyasi will offer two family tents.

Family Suite (1 Unit/Villa)
The family suite comprises two ensuite tents connected by a lounge tent. Each tent has its own bathroom, ensuring privacy. Ideal for families or friends traveling together, the suite features sumptuous interiors inspired by Tanzania’s colorful cultures. Wake up to tea, coffee, or hot chocolate delivered to your tent. The suite includes tents set up as twin or king beds and can accommodate an extra bed (stretcher bed). Bathrooms have a vanity stand with a pitcher of water, a flushing toilet, and a shower with hot water on request. Toiletries are provided.

Private Camp Option

A private camp consists of one family tent (with two bedrooms) connected by a lounge tent and two double ensuite tented suites (one bedroom per suite). This setup accommodates six adults and two children, offering an exclusive and luxurious safari experience.
