Wonderful place and service” This tented camp is located in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, at the edge of the rim. It is smaller than the one in Serengeti, which makes it very special. The views of the crater are lovely, and it’s the only camp with the views. The staff is hot and attentive. The tents are big enough, comfortable and provide anything you need, with small details that make the difference between camping and glamping. You can’t imagine how luxurious it can be! There is no current power, but solar, so you can’t use a hairdryer, for example, and you need to request one if you need to charge any electronic device. But it is more than understandable and keeps the idea of being eco-friendly with the environment and animals. The weather can be cold and windy, especially at night; in the evening, before dinner, they prepare a fireplace so that you can feel warmer and enjoy the fantastic views. They also give you some drinks and snacks. The food is delicious, and the selection of wines and spirits is also excellent. Especially at night, some wild animals can come closer to the camp. The staff will take you to your tent when needed, so it is no big deal; you are more than safe. Even so, they advise you to remain inside your tent during the night. But this is an adventure, right? It is a great experience to hear the sound of nature while sleeping.”
