We are currently hiring Travel Consultants to help us continue our mission of offering exceptional travel experiences to our guests. If you are passionate about the travel industry and customer service, we would love to hear from you!
Role: Travel Consultant
Languages Required: English, German, French, Dutch, or Spanish
Location: Remote (must reside in Africa or a similar time zone as East Africa, GMT +3)
What You Will Do:
As a Travel Consultant, your role will be dynamic and varied. Each day will bring new challenges as you assist our clients in crafting personalized travel programs. Your responsibilities will include:
- Handling Customer Requests: Respond to customer inquiries, adapt travel routes, and assist with follow-up calls.
- Working with Clients in Their Native Language: Ensure clear communication and understanding with clients in their preferred language.
- Creating Customized Travel Programs: Use our software system to design travel itineraries based on each client’s specific desires.
- Collaborating with International Teams: Work closely with our teams in Tanzania, and the reservations team for hotel bookings.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to make sure each client has a memorable experience.
What We Are Looking For:
We are seeking individuals who are passionate about providing excellent customer service and who have the following skills and qualities:
- Language Proficiency: Fluent in English and your native language, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with clients from different backgrounds.
- Computer Proficiency: Basic computer skills and fast typing.
- Time Management: Strong organizational and time management skills to juggle multiple tasks.
- Sense of Responsibility: You are dependable and take ownership of your work.
- Commercial Attitude: A proactive approach to sales and understanding clients’ needs.
- Flexible Availability: Ability to work remotely with flexibility—occasional evening calls may be required.
