Overnight at Roho ya Selous or Sayari Camp.

Meet and Greet at the airport. Fly from the city airport to the airstrip.

Our guide is ready to meet you off your plane. Then, after a quick briefing, you will set off on a game drive back to camp. Begin to get your bearings on the banks of the Ruaha River in the Ruaha or the shores of Lake Nzerakera in Nyerere. Once at camp, lunch will serve with an opportunity to relax and settle in. In the afternoon, head back out into the wilderness with your guide and begin to discover the wonderful wild world at your fingertips. When you return to camp at sunset, you can freshen up before enjoying your first dinner under the stars and retiring to the campfire for a nightcap.

Structuring Your Safari Day

Depending on your preference, there are a couple of options regarding how your day is structured. One option is to break camp early and head out with a picnic breakfast on a morning game activity, returning to camp in time for lunch. In the afternoon, you can do another game activity or relax by the pool with a good book. Alternatively, you can eat breakfast at the camp and head out on your game drive with a picnic lunch, returning mid-afternoon. 

Unique Safari Experiences and Zanzibar Retreat

The camp offers game drives, Roho ya Selous also offers walking safaris, and Nyerere is the only destination in East Africa to provide boating safaris. These are beautiful opportunities to see unique sights from the water or try catch-and-release fishing. 

You’ll spend three days in the bush before hopping on a plane to Zanzibar’s coast and tropical islands for the remainder of your 7 Days Romantic Honeymoon Safari and Zanzibar.

Pick up at Zanzibar airport and taken to Chuini Zanzibar Lodge.

After arriving at the Lodge, you will settle into your A-framed wooden banda, which is open at its front to capitalize on the uninterrupted ocean view. The whole property has been designed to minimize its environmental footprint. Solar power is employed for all the rooms, and the buildings use traditional, natural materials – sustainable wood, makuti (palm leaves), and. Over the next few days, why not act out your Robinson Crusoe fantasies? The island is home to thousands of sea birds, nesting turtles, and coconut crabs! Explore the area with a sandbank picnic, kayaking around the island, fishing, snorkeling, or scuba diving along the 11 km of virgin coral reef.

Island life at Breezes can  laid-back or active as you like. Explore life beneath the waves at the dive center, sample local culture with a Swahili cooking class or palm weaving on the beach, or try various water sports.

From Chuini Lodge, you will go back to Zanzibar Airport, a journey of approximately 30 minutes.
