Lake Masek Tented Lodge is in the Southern Serengeti in the Lake Ndutu area. This is where the large herds of the Great Migration settle for the calving season between December and early March. It offers the best accommodation in the area. At other times of the year, the wildlife is relatively scarce, although there are always resident hippos, buffaloes, and various species of aquatic birds. It is located approximately 30 minutes from Ndutu Airstrip.
