This route is the newest addition to the Kilimanjaro trekking options and offers an unparalleled adventure for seasoned hikers. Known for its untouched natural beauty and breathtaking views, the Northern Circuit Route provides a unique experience that takes you through various climate zones, from lush rainforests to barren alpine deserts. It is the longest and most challenging route on Kilimanjaro, but it rewards those who take on the challenge with an unparalleled sense of achievement.

Why Choose the Kilimanjaro Northern Circuit Route?

  1. Untouched Wilderness: Unlike other popular routes on Kilimanjaro, the Northern Circuit Route remains relatively untouched by mass tourism. This means you can truly immerse yourself in the raw beauty of nature and enjoy a more serene and authentic trekking experience.
  2. Unique Scenery: The Northern Circuit Route showcases Kilimanjaro’s diverse landscapes in all their glory. From dense rainforests teeming with exotic wildlife to barren lunar landscapes and expansive glaciers, each day brings new and awe-inspiring scenery.
  3. High Success Rate: The Northern Circuit Route boasts a higher success rate than other routes, primarily due to its extended duration and gradual altitude acclimatization. This increases the chances of reaching the summit and makes it a popular choice among experienced climbers.
  4. Lower Crowds: The Northern Circuit Route is perfect for solitude and exclusivity. With fewer trekkers on this route, you can enjoy the tranquility of nature and have a more personal connection with the mountain.
  5. Ultimate Challenge: If you’re an experienced hiker looking for a new challenge, the Northern Circuit Route offers just that. With its extended duration and higher altitude, this route pushes your physical and mental limits, rewarding you with a sense of accomplishment.
