You'll be transferred to Nungwi at Hotel RIU on arrival in Zanzibar. After settling in, order a drink from the bar, take in the beautiful sea views, and start planning the coming days.

The next five days are yours to do as much or as little as you want. Soak up the sun on gorgeous, secluded beaches, take to the translucent waters on a sea kayak, and indulge yourself with a range of therapeutic massages and treatments - the choice is yours.

The lodge is situated on Nungwi Beach, a beautiful white-sand beach with crystalline waters that will make you feel like you're truly the home to a diverse array of Indian Ocean marine life. The RIU Palace offers spectacular diving and snorkeling opportunities, as well as fly fishing, and you can swim directly from the beach.

You select lunch, and a menu is drawn up every day which you can discuss with your butler. Baskets of fresh fruit, fish, lobster, crab, and prawns are sailed into Mnemba daily on traditional ngalawa outriggers and served on the beach each night.

Beach barbeques are often organized, and for romantics, The Hotel can arrange a private beach dinner where you and your partner will feel the waves gently lapping at your feet as you dine.

Enjoy leisurely walks around the island, exploring the craft shops, or tour the 'Spice Island', Zanzibar.
